The Woodland Ferry is owned and operated by the Delaware Department of Transportation (DelDOT). It went into service following the Official Christening Event that occurred on Wednesday, October 29, 2008. It was officially christened the Tina Fallon, after the long-serving Seaford area Representative. The naming of the vessel was per legislation.

The Woodland Ferry transports vehicle and foot passengers between Seaford and Laurel, Delaware. However, traffic from nearby Bethel, Blades and even Galesville, Maryland use the ferry as well.

The ferry currently operates M-F 7:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m. with the exception of lunch daily from 11 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. It is closed on the weekends.

The ferry is closed on Thursday mornings for routine maintenance. Motorists can access this website at anytime to view the link above for the real-time operational status of the ferry.

There is no fee to use the ferry.
