Supportive Services offers our certified DBE firms the opportunity to advance their skills and knowledge by providing the support they need on an individual or group basis. Mentor Protégé

The mentor/protege program is an approach available to assist DelDOT and contractors or consultants to meet the requirements of 49 CFR Part 26 and this Program. It affords the opportunity to gain information and experience in a productive work situation to established DBEs working to expand their present capacity and to less experienced DBEs needing training and assistance. All mentor/protege relationships must be evidenced by a written development plan and be approved by the DBE Program Manager. Copies of the plan must be retained by DelDOT and all concerned parties.
