TRAFFIC ALERT - New Castle County - Traffic Shift on Route 299 in Middletown
The Delaware Department of Transportation (DelDOT) announces to motorists that there will be a traffic shift on Route 299 near Catherine Street at 9:00 pm Monday, December 11th. Traffic will shift from the north side of Route 299 to the south side of Route 299 so the contractor can complete the installation of new curb, drainage, and pedestrian connections.
That same night there will also be a traffic shift at Route 299 and Cleaver Farms Road/Dickenson Boulevard, again at 9:00 pm. This shift will allow the contractor to complete construction on the south side of Route 299 and Dickenson Boulevard.
This work is weather dependent. Motorists should use caution and expect minor delays in the area.
