In accordance with 49 CFR Part 26, the Delaware Department of Transportation (DelDOT) has established a proposed overall goal of 11.43% Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (DBE) participation on federal aid contracts during FFY 2014 through FFY 2016. The goal includes a race-neutral participation goal of 1.71%. The public is advised that the information on the methodology used to develop this goal is available for review during normal business hours (8:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m., Monday - Friday) or online at until the close of business day August 30, 2013.

DelDOT will also hold a Public Workshop to allow the public to review and comment on the proposed goal. The workshop will be held August 6, 2013 in the DelDOT Transportation Administration Center, 800 Bay Road, Dover, DE. The public is invited to attend any time between 9:30 a.m. and 12:00 p.m.

The Civil Rights Administration office will accept written comments on the proposed goal until the close of business August 30, 2013. Comments should be addressed to Kathrina Stroud, Civil Rights Administrator, 800 Bay Road, Dover, DE 19903.

Interested persons are invited to express their views in writing, giving reasons for support of or in opposition to, the proposed project. When applicable, we offer the opportunity to fill out a questionnaire online which will automatically get emailed to Community Relations.
