The Delaware Department of Transportation (DelDOT), in conjunction with the Delaware State University and the Dover/Kent County MPO, is conducting a pedestrian study regarding options for improving non-motorized circulation in the area of the Delaware State University Campus. The potential improvements are being generated to provide additional opportunities for pedestrian and bicycle travel around campus in the Dover area. Funding is currently not programmed for construction.

The Public Workshop will be held on November 15, 2012 at the Martin Luther King Student Center from 11a.m. to 12p.m. and from 4p.m. to 6p.m.

This location is accessible to persons having disabilities. Any person having special needs or requiring special aid, such as an interpreter for the hearing impaired, is requested to contact DelDOT by phone or mail one week in advance.
Interested persons are invited to express their views in writing, giving reasons for support of or in opposition to, the proposed project. Comments will be received during the workshop or can be mailed to DelDOT Community Relations, P.O. Box 778, Dover, DE 19903. When applicable, we offer the opportunity to fill out a questionnaire online which will automatically get emailed to Community Relations.
