260' of roadway centered on the bridge.
The existing bridge consists of a 16' corrugated metal pipe arch with sacked riprap headwalls. The pipes have significant corrosion and has been selected by the Pontis Bridge Management System for work. Due to the deficiency rating and the structure's deterioration, a project has been initiated to replace this bridge.
This project involves complete replacement of the existing structure. The existing pipe arch will be replaced with a 16' x 6' precast concrete rigid frame. Riprap will be placed upstream and downstream of the new structure for scour protection. Also included is 260' of new pavement, new guardrail and improvements to the roadside drainage.
