Approximately 250 feet north and south of the bridge along Greentop Road.
The structure consisted of three 55 inch x 73 inch corrugated metal pipe arches with a total length of approximately 50 feet. The replacement of Bridge 3-941 was proposed due to significant corrosion found during routine bridge inspections and the subsequent diminishing structural integrity of the structure.
The scope of the project was to replace the corrugated metal pipe arches with three 53 inch x 83 inch reinforced elliptical concrete pipes, at approximately 60 feet in length. Additional improvements included minor approach roadway work and placing rip-rap in the stream for scour protection. The work shall was performed under a full road closure with a posted detour.
Design work to be completed October 2014.
Construction work completed November 2015.
