430 total feet north and south of the bridge
The project consist of three corrugated metal pipes that are severely corroded. These pipes are encased in a concrete headwall that has some minor cracking and will require repair.
Replace the existing corrugated metal pipes with three reinforced concrete elliptical pipes. Repair the minor cracking issues in the concrete headwall. Reconstruct the roadway approaches and place sour countermeasures in the stream to protect the structure. Construction will be completed in one stage with a detour which includes the closure of Conrail Road during construction.
Design work was completed in Fall 2013.
