TRAFFIC ALERT - Lane Restrictions for Five Sussex County Roadways

The Department of Transportation announces that Harmony Construction, Inc. will be paving and rehabilitating the roadways across Sussex County, Delaware. For this project, the Wilmington, Delaware-based firm submitted a bid of $2,308,897.24, the lowest of five bids.
The project consists of milling, patching, and hot mix overlay of the following roads throughout Sussex County:
* Route 113 northbound from Speedway Road to the entrance to Arby's Restaurant (Millsboro) beginning Monday, May 15 through Wednesday, July 19 from 8 p.m. to 6 a.m.
* Route 113 southbound from WalMart entrance to Arrow Safety Road (Georgetown) beginning Monday, May 15 through Wednesday, July 19 from 8 p.m. to 6 a.m.
* Fisher Road from Lewes-Georgetown Highway to Cool Spring Road (Georgetown) The work began on Monday, May 8 and will end on Saturday, June 17 from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m.
* Harmons Hill Road from Hollyville Road to Indian Mission Road (Millsboro)
The work began on Monday, May 1 and will end on Wednesday, July 19 from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m.
* Cave Neck Road from Chestnut Street to Brickyard Road (Milton ) beginning Monday, May 15 through Wednesday, July 19 from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m.
There will be intermittent lane restrictions during these time periods. Motorists are advised to use caution when traveling through these areas.
