Purpose and Role

The purpose of the West Dover Connector Working Group is to provide advice to DelDOT regarding potential transportation improvements that would connect Saulsbury Road to New Burton Road and possibly to US Route 13. The role of the Group will be to assist DelDOT by providing input, making suggestions, reviewing alternatives, narrowing the range of alternatives, recommending alternatives that will receive detailed study, and recommending preferred alternatives. The Group will help in developing a consensus and gaining public comment and acceptance. The Working Group is one element of an extensive public and inter-agency involvement process.
