US113 North/South Study

Millsboro-South Area (Millsboro, Dagsboro, Frankford, and Selbyville)

News & Updates (This site last updated October 12, 2011)

The Delaware Department of Transportation (DelDOT) has preliminarily identified the Blue Alternative, the longest eastern bypass of Millsboro, Dagsboro and Frankford, and On-alignment improvements through Selbyville, as the Recommended Preferred Alternative for the Millsboro-South Area. Improved connections at SR 24, 26 and 54 are also part of the Recommended Preferred Alternative.

DelDOT conducted two public workshops on May 24 and 25, 2010, to update and hear from the public on the status and progress of the Millsboro-South Area of the US 113 project. Information was presented on the preliminarily identified Recommended Preferred Alternative, refinements that have been made to the other Alternatives Retained for Detailed Study and an assessment of the effects of the alternatives.

Information received at the workshops will be used to assist in finalizing the Draft Environmental Impact Statement (DEIS) for the project, which is anticipated to be available in late 2012.
