School Bell Road, SR 1 to US 40

Project Status

June 2, 2008 – School Bell Road Construction

It has been approximately one year since construction began and the final phase, Phase 4, of School Bell Road construction continues with a scheduled completion date in late fall 2008. Phase 2 and Phase 3 construction were completed in April and the intersection at US 40 and School Bell Road is open to traffic. School Bell Road will continue to be closed to through traffic between SR 7 and Jamestowne Drive/Dasher Avenue. As progress continues, segments of the completed roadway may be open to traffic and barricades relocated accordingly. During this time, all local access will be maintained for those residents and developments with direct access to School Bell Road. The road closures are accompanied by detour route signing and are utilized to construct the improvements safely and efficiently.
