Outstanding Maintenance Project for 2005 (South) Removal and Replacement of Bridge 118 on Road 573
Project Description
On Road 573 between roads 575 and 574 was an old existing concrete box culvert. On July 8, 2005, Dover Bridge inspection, on a routine inspection, deemed this structure unsafe for traffic due to excessive cracking and concrete failure. Due to the unexpected closure, no bridge contracts were pending. A long-term closure was expected with a high reconstruction cost projected.
Award Recipients: Michael Henry, Jesse M. Millman, Glen Phillips, Arthur Hopkins, Wayne Walton, Donald Severs, Charles Clark, Freeman Carter, Gary Liesko, David Dodd, Jeffrey Friedel, Jeff Revel
