Multi-Modal Award
Harrington-Dover Shuttle
| The Harrington-Dover Shuttle involved a shuttle service, which was designed to provide access to jobs and training opportunities to low-income residents of Kent County as well as provide a pilot service to DART First State.
This project also modeled:
- Collaborative effort that produced mobility options for work and school trips
- Ridership that has quadrupled since the first month.
- Effective shuttle feeder to existing fixed route bus service
- A Grant-funded project operated free of charge to the public
- Multi-agency cooperation (DE Economic Development Office, DE Health and Social Services, DE State Housing Authority)
