Public Meeting Exhibits
Old Cooch's Bridge Road

The exhibits that follow have been posted at the request of Senator Bethany Hall-Long and Representative Earl Jaques. While this information is not new, it is presented again now for those who may not have seen it before.

The exhibits were presented by DelDOT at a community meeting on November 19, 2008, regarding several pending developments on Old Cooch's Bridge Road. The largest of these developments is a plan by W.L. Gore and Associates to develop 1,635,139 square feet of office/manufacturing/warehouse facilities with associated improvements on three parcels of land, Glasgow Commons Parcels B, D and F.

The plan for Glasgow Commons Parcels B, D and F has received record plan approval from New Castle County, which means that W.L. Gore and Associates may build those facilities. At present they have not said when they might do so.

Of the three parcels involved, Parcels B and D would have access on Old Cooch's Bridge Road. They respectively would have 362,391 and 522,748 square feet of office/manufacturing/warehouse facilities.

The conceptual entrance designs shown in the following exhibits have been discussed with representatives of W.L. Gore and Associates and represent DelDOT's current thinking for the access to and from Parcels B and D. Thus far, we have received no drawings from W.L. Gore and Associates in this regard.
