Project Need

This bridge consists of severely corroded corrugated metal pipes (CMPs). As such, it is structurally deficient and was selected by the Pontis Bridge Management System for replacement

Project Overview:

Replace the deteriorated CMPs with a precast concrete frame. Construction will be completed in one stage with a detour. Reconstruct approaches and place a scour countermeasure in the stream to protect the structure.

Construction Phase:

Construction work to start in May 2012 and be complete within approximately 40 days of beginning.
