Re-advertised Design-Build Procurement Information
The Delaware Department of Transportation issued the following Request for Proposals (RFP) Scope of Services Package for the Re-advertised Design-Build Replacement of the Indian River Inlet to the shortlisted Design-Build Teams on February 27, 2008. The Request for Qualifications (RFQ) was advertised October 2007. The Department received Statements of Qualifications (SOQ) on December 19, 2007. The shortlisted firms are:
Indian River Constructors, A joint venture of Flatiron Constructors, Inc. & Kiewit Construction Co.
PCL Civil Constructors, Inc.
Skanska USA Civil Southeast Inc.
On November 14, 2007, the Department held an "Informational Meeting" for firms interested in participating in the Re-advertised Design-Build process to replace the existing bridge.
