N54, Howell School Road from SR 896 to SR71

News Updates: October 24, 2007 New Signal at SR 71 & Howell School Road Delayed Until November It was announced at the recent public meeting for this project that a traffic signal would be installed at the SR 71/Howell School Road intersection in early October, 2007. However, due to a manufacturing problem with the signal pole assembly, the installation has been delayed. It is now anticipated that the signal will be installed and made operational in November, 2007. The traffic signal is expected to significantly reduce peak period delays for traffic on Howell School Road, and allow Howell School Road traffic to more safely turn onto SR 71. Message boards will be posted in the area of the intersection announcing the specific date the signal will be turned on. |
