Blue Ball Properties - West Park Road Improvements

Completed in fall 2003, West Park Improvements consisted of important environmental and transportation improvements including:
  • Temporary six-lane road in use since July 2004
  • Replacement wetland, Alapocas Run stream restoration and integrated stormwater management system
  • Landscaping featuring native plant material
  • A new portion of the Northern Delaware Greenway connecting the West Park to the City of Wilmington

A Construction Working Group currently meets once a month to facilitate communication between the contractor, residents and businesses in the construction area. Meeting reports can be found on this web site.
