Nearly 135 people signed-in at the May 6, 2002 Public Workshop held at the Jewish Community Center from 4:00pm to 8:00pm. The primary purpose of the workshop was to provide the public with information regarding the widening and reconstruction of US Route 202, Augustine Cut-Off to Independence Mall, which will be implemented during the second construction contract.

Also featured were updates about the East Park Plan, Blue Ball Dairy Barn and Public Art Opportunities, specifically the Park Drive Underpass, Rt. 141 Underpasses and the Blue Ball Dairy Barn Garden.

Considerable progress has been made with the Blue Ball Project. Thus, the workshop gave the public the opportunity to share their ideas and comments with the project team. Click on the below links for more information presented in the handout including:
