There are many different work zones along our roadways. Construction, maintenance, and repair operations are necessary to provide safe and efficient means of travel.

April 3-9, 2005 is Work Zone Safety Awareness Week. The campaign is intended to heighten awareness for the need to slow down and be alert when driving through a work zone.
