Highway Speed EZPass Lanes under construction for the Route 1 Dover Toll Plaza

The Dover Toll Plaza on SR1, just south of Dover Downs, is in the midst of construction of the new Highway
Speed E-ZPass lanes, similar to those at the Biddle's Toll Plaza just below the Route 1 bridge over the
C & D Canal. These "Highway-Speed" lanes will help keep traffic flowing as E-ZPass users will
be able to maintain the legal speed limit while going through the specially designed E-ZPass lanes. E-ZPass
toll collection systems are suspended above the lanes.
