Archaeology Month 2004

The letter H
istorically speaking, the month of May is Archaeology Month and the Delaware Department of Transportation is proud to be a contributing sponsor.
As you may know, DelDOT has unearthed a large amount of historical data during it's highway and roadway development programs. This data is used to learn about the people who inhabited this area throughout our history. We can learn valuable lessons by finding out how they lived, where they lived, what they used for tools, what their habits were and more. Port Penn post office
