When DelDOT builds roads, they also build bridges to the past.
The Delaware Department of Transportation plays an essential role in the preservation of Delaware's History. When many
of Delaware's roadways were planned, archaeological digs were done to insure that nothing of any value to our history
was damaged or destroyed in the process.
