Announcements January 20, 2010 Workshop
The Office of Public Carrier Regulation would like to thank everyone that
was able to attend our first workshop on January 20, 2010. We received a
tremendous amount of great feedback from all that attended. Plans have already
begun to arrange more workshops later this year to discuss in more detail the
issues that are emerging in each classification of carrier. For those that were
not able to attend, minutes have been prepared to recap what was discussed. Workshop Minutes
Workshop Announcements Registration Form
In response to your requests in our Public Carrier Workshop held on January
20, 2010, additional workshops have been scheduled to continue our dialogue on
special interest projects. Several key issues that many of you were passionate
about have been selected for follow up workshops. Three workshops have been
planned and are listed below. A single registration form is available to
register for each workshop that you are interested in. The registration form
can be filled out online and emailed to us or completed manually and faxed.
Workshop #1
Topic: How can the Office of Public Carrier Regulation streamline the
process for adding vehicles for existing public carriers?

Topic: Is a driver identification program needed to regulate drivers and
provide additional safety for passengers?

Topic: How can we improve the convenience, affordability, and safety to
increase the amount of public carrier transportation provided?
Date: June 16, 2010 Place: Public Safety Building Main Conference Room, 303 Transportation Circle, Dover, DE 19903. Time: 1:00 to 3:00 P.M. We greatly appreciate your involvement and feedback on the many issues that
