TRAFFIC ALERT - Woodland Ferry Resumes Service
Seaford -- The Delaware Department of Transportation (DelDOT) announced today, that the Woodland Ferry repairs are completed and has returned to full service. The ferry was taken out of service on February 16, to inspect the source of a minor oil leak in one of the thruster units.
As a reminder, during periods of excessively high and low tides, the ferry will not conduct crossings. Tides at the Woodland Ferry crossing on the Nanticoke River can vary by as much as four feet at certain times of the year.
