WHEN: 8 PM on Friday, February 15 until 8 PM on Sunday, February 17, weather permitting


WHERE: I-495 southbound between 12th Street and Route 13 Exit near Wilmington

WHAT: DelDOT's contractor, Eastern Highway Specialists will be closing the right and center lane to set up a barrier wall for the maintenance and repair of the bridge on the interstate. After 8 PM on Sunday, February 17, the right lane and the right excel/deceleration lane will be closed for approximately a month.

Motorists should use caution in this area for shifting of traffic and construction personnel on
I-495 southbound.

Driver's can adjust their routes or travel times by using DelDOT's Smartphone application. The DelDOT App is available for Android and iPhone users and can be downloaded free at the Google Play and Apple stores.
