TRAFFIC ALERT - New Four-Way Stop Sign Configuration Planned for Peachtree Run and Millchop Lane Intersection Improvements Designed to Increase Safety of Drivers
Magnolia -- The Department of Transportation (DelDOT) announces that work will begin on Monday, February 4 through mid-March, at the intersection of Peachtree Run and Millchop Lane in Magnolia. Work hours will be from 9 a.m. until 2 p.m., Monday through Friday, pending weather.
The work includes converting the existing Two-Way Stop configuration to a Four-Way Stop configuration, installation of stop line pavement markings, and intersection control beacons at the intersection of Peachtree Run and Millchop Lane.
These changes are being made in order to improve the safety of the road system and to reduce the likelihood of future crashes at this intersection.
Flaggers will be onsite to direct traffic. Motorists should use caution in this area for shifting of traffic and construction personnel at this intersection.
