Dover -- Route 1
One lane of northbound Route 1 is closed, approximately 1/2 mile south of Dewey Beach near the Indian River Inlet.
-- The road and the inlet bridge remain open to traffic now and were open throughout the storm.
-- DelDOT crews are working along the shoulder and in right lane clearing debris.
-- There is still some water puddled in a portion of the lane, but the water is draining away.
-- To see a recent photo of that section of Route 1, copied below is a screen shot taken from one of our traffic cameras at 8:52 a.m. this morning.

Prime Hook Road remains closed because of tidal flooding.
-- Crews will monitor the road throughout the day.
-- DelDOT has reopened temporary access for emergency services and residents to Prime Hook over private property from North Bay Shore Drive.
