Press Release -- November 12, 2012
TRAFFIC ALERT - DelDOT reopens I-95 at U.S. Route 202

All roads and ramps reopened in that area.

Wilmington -- The Department of Transportation (DelDOT) has completed the placement of structural steel girders above the northbound and southbound lanes along I-95 at the U.S. Route 202 interchange. This is a key step forward in DelDOT's plans to install an overhead highway at the interchange.

Exit ramps, entrance ramps and a segment of I-95 were closed off in both directions while the construction crews worked this weekend.

As of Monday morning, November 12, 2012, I-95 @ Route 202 has reopened completely and traffic is flowing freely through that area.
